CAP module: Compassion - Acceptance - Mindfulness

 

This module promotes full presence in the present moment, helps define your values and offers new ways to feel better and move forward in the direction of your values and goals.

The module includes activities and experiential exercises that allow you to better understand each of the steps and to practice your presence in the present moment. The activities in the module are organized in the order in which they are presented in this workbook. Discussions are planned for each activity and they take place either in groups or in pairs. At the end of each activity, the therapists will focus on what you learned, what you appreciated,  or less appreciated, and they will ask you to share your experience. Homework will be provided to facilitate the practice of what has been seen during the activities. At the end of each activity, a snack will be served to allow participants to talk to each other.

Learning objectives:

After completing the activities in this module, each participant should be able to achieve the following objectives:

1) The participant will be able to be more present in the moment

2) The participant will be able to know his most important values

3) The participant will be able to know and apply new strategies to feel better.
